CBD Lab Reports | Why They Are Important and How to Read

Whether you’re new to CBD or an experienced user, you’ve probably read how important it is to use CBD only from a supplier who provides independent third-party lab reports of their products.

Our CBD lab reports detail the active cannabinoid content in the products. Full-spectrum products will show the presence of multiple cannabinoids, in addition to CBD.

The report should also show that the THC level is below 0.3%, conforming to the legal definition of Hemp. It is important that each hemp/CBD product have a batch or lot number on the label and that there is a separate lab report for each batch.

High Falls Hemp NY products are made with full-spectrum phytocannabinoids, which means that they contain all of the beneficial cannabinoids present in the hemp plant.

The lab report details the amount of each cannabinoid present in the product (e.g. CBD, CBN, CBG) with the heaviest concentration being CBD.

Below is the lab report from one of our 3000mg tincture oils. As you can see, we’ve added several callouts to define where to find the relevant information on a lab report. Note that these percentages are by weight per serving (e.g. one dropper of oil or one soft gel).

3000MG TINCTURE REPORT   In this lab report, there are several important results to note:

Total Cannabinoids per 1mL serving

Serving size 1mL = 1 dropper full

Total THC per serving: .0023 divided by 0.986 = .00233 or .23%

Total CBD = 110.84mg per 1mL serving
Note: The presence of the CBD along with the other cannabinoids, CBN, CBG, CBC, THC, etc. confirms this is a full spectrum product.
At High Falls Hemp, we take the commitment to make lab reports available very seriously. We not only test for cannabinoid content but we also have full-panel tests performed to show our products do not contain any harmful chemicals. We pride ourselves on attention to detail when it comes to the quality contents of our product. If you have any questions or would like to see a copy of the lab report for the specific lot number you purchased, refer to our Independent Lab Reports page or email us at support@highfallshemp.com.
