Broad-spectrum refers to CBD products that contain a combination of terpenes, cannabinoids, and other compounds that are beneficial that are found in the hemp plant. Further processing removes the small amounts of  THC to non-detectable levels in broad-spectrum CBD products.  High Fall Hemp NY will be offering broad-spectrum CBD products in 2021.

Full-spectrum CBD products are similar to broad-spectrum CBD, with the exception that full-spectrum CBD has trace amounts of THC present.  However, in accordance with the law, the amount of THC must always remain at 0.3% or less THC.

CBD does not have an expiration date but CBD products, over time, can degrade and be limited in potency.  We suggest that you keep the products in a dark, cold place and always properly affix the top to ensure they don’t become exposed.  Our products, because we do not add artificial ingredients for flavor, last longer than others on the market.  Typically, our products should last for up to 2 years.

Our CBD tinctures and CBD softgels carry a shelf life of 18-24 months. Each batch has a “Best By” date printed on the label. We have also discovered that even after a product reaches its ” best by” date, that the CBD content is still well above the amount advertised on the label, leading us to conclude that the actual shelf life of our products might even extend 4 years or more.

We suggest keeping them in a dark, cool place.  A refrigerator is ideal but if that is not an option, then in a drawer or cabinet.  Always keep them out of sunlight and don’t leave them in your car.  They should be kept in their air-tight containers to preserve the potency. To this end, it is important to always close the lid, tincture dropper of the container the CBD product is in, as excessive exposure to freely circulating oxygen might cause the product to degrade.

CBD should not show up on a drug test, especially because our products contain less than 0.3% THC.  However, we cannot represent or warrant that results vary depending on the person.  So, if you work in a vocation that requires regular drug testing where THC is prohibited, we recommend our THC free Isolate or broad-spectrum. Tincture for you.  It is important to consider the risks of using CBD depending on what you do for a living or what is required of you and the risk you take in using CBD products.
